this is a rather old piece of mine - maybe a year or so. a terragen render heavily manipulated in photoshop. maybe 4 weeks of work. original res 5000x3333. since i'm using a weird technique i'm not sure if it's more 3d or 2d. i used a lot of photography i took in the german alps as you can see, to create the mountains.
