once again a digital matte painting experiment. the pic was running through lots of different stages while i worked on it. it started with a scifi concept but ended in a fantasy painting.

i know it looks a bit rough but somehow i like that style. i don't wanna justify lazy work ;p - more than 30hrs of work can't be lazy. i guess i just like the rough look and did not try to alter it too much since it kinda fits to the theme.

title is from the belgariad saga from the books by david eddings. i love the series.
